Part Time Paraplanner – Strategy Wealth (Bodmin, Cornwall)

Salary: From £35,000 pro rata depending on experience/qualifications

Hours: Flexible, 21 hrs over 3 - 5 days per week

Benefits: 25 days holiday (pro rata) plus bank holidays, 5% company pension contribution

We are a growing independent financial planning firm based in St Austell, Cornwall. Now in our third year, Strategy Wealth has built a strong reputation for high quality, client focused financial advice. Our small, friendly team of four is passionate about helping clients achieve long term financial wellbeing through clear, strategic planning. As our business continues to grow, we are excited to welcome a new paraplanner to support our expanding client base and maintain the highest level of service from our new Bodmin office in 2026.

The Role

Are you looking to step back from full time commitment without leaving the profession you enjoy? We are seeking an experienced and qualified Paraplanner to join our close-knit team on a part time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys the technical side of financial planning and values flexibility and genuine work life balance.

Working closely with our financial planners, you will prepare detailed research and reports, develop recommendations, and ensure compliance with industry standards. You'll play a vital role in delivering a first-class client experience.

What We're Looking For

• Holds (or close to completing) the Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (or equivalent)
• Proven experience in a paraplanning role within financial services
• Strong technical knowledge of pensions, investments, and protection products
• Excellent attention to detail and written communication skills
• A collaborative, positive attitude and willingness to contribute to a small team environment
• Willingness to embrace upcoming changes in technology (eg. AI)
• Experience of XPLAN, Defaqto Engage, FE Cash Calc/Analytics is desirable
